Add-on Packages Policy

Effective from: 2026-04-25

Add-On Packages are provided subject to the Built to Roam Main Advertising Terms and Conditions ("Main Terms"), which are incorporated into this Policy by reference.

Terms defined in the Main Terms shall have the same meaning in this Policy. In the event of any conflict between a defined term in the Main Terms and this Policy, the definition in this Policy shall take precedence in relation to Add-On Packages.

1. Definitions

"Add-On Package" refers to any paid enhancement product offered by Built to Roam to increase visibility of a Profile or Van Advertisement.

"Boost Profile" refers to a paid enhancement available exclusively to approved Converter Partners whereby the Converter Partner's Profile appears in a prioritised position within relevant search results and/or directory listings for the selected duration.

"Boost Van Ad" refers to a paid enhancement whereby a specific Van Advertisement is prioritised within relevant search results for the selected duration.

"Converter Partner" refers to a trade customer, approved and verified by Built to Roam, offering professional van conversions or converted vans for sale.

"Private Seller" refers to an individual listing a van for sale who is not a Converter Partner and is not acting in the course of business.

"Profile" refers to a Converter Partner's public business listing page on Built to Roam.

"Van Advertisement" or "Ad" refers to an individual listing for a van published on the Built to Roam platform.

"Boost Period" refers to the agreed duration during which the Add-On Package is active.

"Search Results" refers to the listings displayed to users in response to a search query or category browse on the Built to Roam platform.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Converter Partners

Approved Converter Partners may purchase:

  • Boost Profile; and
  • Boost Van Ad

Eligibility for Add-On Packages is conditional upon:

  • Successful completion of the Built to Roam verification process;
  • Compliance with the Main Terms; and
  • Having an active and compliant Profile and/or Van Advertisement.

Built to Roam reserves the right to suspend access to Add-On Packages where a Converter Partner is under investigation for breach of platform standards.

2.2 Private Sellers

Private Sellers may purchase:

  • Boost Van Ad

Private Sellers are not eligible for Boost Profile.

Eligibility requires:

  • Compliance with the Main Terms; and
  • Having an active and compliant Profile and/or Van Advertisement.

3. Product Description & Visibility Rules

3.1 Boost Profile (Converter Partners Only)

Boost Profile provides prioritised placement of the Converter Partner's Profile within relevant search results and/or directory listings.

Key conditions:

  • Boosted Profiles may appear above non-boosted Profiles within applicable search categories.
  • Where multiple Profiles are boosted, ordering may be determined by a rotation system or internal ranking logic at Built to Roam's discretion.
  • Boosting does not guarantee the number of views, enquiries, conversions, or sales.
  • Boost visibility applies only during the active Boost Period.

Built to Roam reserves the right to label boosted placements (e.g. "Featured" or "Promoted") where required for transparency.

3.2 Boost Van Ad (Converter Partners & Private Sellers)

Boost Van Ad provides prioritised placement of a specific Van Advertisement within relevant Search Results.

Key conditions:

  • Boosted Ads may appear above non-boosted Ads within applicable search categories.
  • Where multiple Ads are boosted, ordering may be determined by a rotation system or internal ranking logic at Built to Roam's discretion.
  • Boosting does not guarantee the number of views, enquiries, conversions, or sales.
  • Boost applies only to the selected Ad and is not transferable to another listing unless agreed by Built to Roam.

If a Boosted Ad expires, is removed, or breaches platform policies, the Boost may be suspended or forfeited.

4. Activation & Duration

  • Add-On Packages must be paid in full prior to activation;
  • Boost Periods begin on the date confirmed by Built to Roam;
  • Boosts run for the agreed duration and automatically expire at the end of that period unless otherwise stated; and
  • Unused time resulting from early removal of an Ad or Profile will not be refunded unless required by law.

5. Changes, Upgrades & Downgrades

Add-On Packages are time-limited promotional enhancements and:

  • Cannot be downgraded mid-term;
  • Cannot be paused;
  • Cannot be partially refunded; and
  • Cannot be transferred to another user.

Converter Partners wishing to change or extend Boost coverage must request this via their Account Manager or designated support channel.

Built to Roam reserves the right to introduce new Add-On products or withdraw existing ones at its discretion.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • All Add-On Package purchases are non-refundable once activated;
  • Cancellation prior to activation may be eligible for refund at Built to Roam's discretion; and
  • If Built to Roam removes a Boost due to breach of platform policies, no refund shall be issued.

Where required under consumer protection law, statutory cancellation rights will apply to Private Sellers.

7. Fair Usage & Platform Integrity

Built to Roam reserves the right to:

  • Limit the number of concurrent Boosts per user or per category;
  • Rotate boosted placements to ensure fair exposure;
  • Suspend or remove Boost functionality where misuse, manipulation, or artificial engagement is detected; and
  • Amend search algorithms at any time to protect user experience and marketplace integrity.

Purchase of an Add-On Package does not:

  • Guarantee top position at all times;
  • Override relevance, location, or category filters; or
  • Provide exclusivity within a category or region.

8. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing for Add-On Packages is determined by Built to Roam and may be updated at any time;
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise;
  • Promotional pricing or bundle offers may be introduced from time to time at Built to Roam's discretion; and
  • Built to Roam reserves the right to conduct annual pricing reviews.

9. Suspension & Termination

Built to Roam may suspend or terminate access to Add-On Packages where:

  • The user breaches the Main Terms;
  • The Ad or Profile breaches Content Standards;
  • Payment is reversed, disputed, or unpaid; or
  • Fraudulent or misleading activity is suspected.

Suspension of a Boost does not automatically extend the Boost Period.

Built to Roam reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Policies at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes will take effect upon publication on our website or upon notification to you, where applicable. It is your responsibility to review these Policies periodically to ensure you are aware of any updates.

These Policies must be read in conjunction with, and are subject to, our Advertising Terms and Conditions, Subscription Terms and Conditions, and Terms of Use. In the event of any inconsistency between these Policies and the aforementioned terms, the relevant Advertising Terms and Conditions, Subscription Terms and Conditions, or Terms of Use shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
