# BRACKEN Bracken combined rugged off-road capability with the warmth and comfort of a handcrafted cabin. Designed for those who feel most at home beyond the beaten track, it balanced adventure-ready practicality with a calm, beautifully crafted interior inspired by natural materials and slow travel. Built on a rare Volkswagen T6 4Motion high-roof platform, Bracken was created to support extended off-grid journeys without sacrificing comfort. Every aspect of the interior was individually designed and hand-built, from the flowing birch cabinetry and solid oak flooring to the carefully integrated storage solutions and generous living space, creating an environment that felt both highly functional and deeply restorative. Externally, Bracken embraced a rugged overland character, with lifted suspension, all-terrain tyres and carefully considered upgrades designed to encourage exploration further afield. Inside, natural wool upholstery, warm timber finishes and thoughtful detailing created a welcoming retreat that felt more like a compact cabin than a conventional campervan. Designed to comfortably sleep up to three people, Bracken featured a spacious U-shaped lounge, full off-grid capability and year-round usability. The result was a vehicle equally suited to remote adventures, long weekends and extended life on the road. Looking back, Bracken marked an important moment in the evolution of The Unbound Collection. Building upon ideas first explored in Little Red, it brought together many of the principles that continue to define our work today: adventure-focused capability, natural materials, handcrafted interiors and a deep appreciation for meaningful travel. More than simply another build, Bracken helped establish the direction of the collection that followed. It demonstrated how thoughtful craftsmanship, natural materials and genuine off-grid capability could come together in a vehicle designed not just for travel, but for a slower, more meaningful way of experiencing the world. ## Design & Build Highlights • Rare Volkswagen T6 High Roof 4Motion platform • Full exterior respray in durable Raptor coating, creating a distinctive overland-inspired finish • Handcrafted Scandinavian-inspired birch plywood interior • Solid oak flooring and carefully selected natural materials throughout • Spacious U-shaped lounge converting into a generous king-size bed • Fully integrated off-grid electrical system for extended remote travel • Gas-free galley with induction cooking • Onboard Wi-Fi connectivity to support remote working and digital nomad lifestyles • Four-season insulation and diesel heating for year-round adventures • Lifted suspension and all-terrain tyres for exploring beyond the beaten track • Abundant storage designed to support longer journeys and life on the road • Natural wool upholstery and warm cabin-inspired detailing • Designed to balance rugged capability with comfort, craftsmanship and calm

Nada Nook is the creative partnership of Alistair & Jenny, specialising in handcrafted, design-led campervans built for adventure, off-grid living and meaningful travel. Drawing on years of experience living, travelling and working from campervans, we create vehicles that balance capability with comfort, combining carefully considered layouts, natural materials and proven off-grid systems with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design. Every project is individually designed and hand-built in our workshop, where sheets of plywood, lengths of timber and carefully chosen materials are transformed into unique living spaces. From the first sketch to the final finishing touches, each van is shaped through a hands-on process of design, craftsmanship and thoughtful refinement. We believe the best campervans are more than a collection of features; they are environments that support a slower pace of life, a stronger connection to nature and the freedom to explore on your own terms. In recent years, this philosophy has evolved into The Unbound Collection — a series of Volkswagen 4Motion-based adventure campervans united by a shared design language and purpose. From BRACKEN through to TIMO, MOSS and RIVER, each vehicle builds upon the lessons of the last, refining a common approach centred around natural materials, thoughtful layouts, off-grid independence and genuine all-terrain capability. Each new project provides an opportunity to refine the collection further, exploring new ideas while remaining true to the principles that brought it into being. Explore the collection through BRACKEN, TIMO, MOSS and RIVER... Alongside The UNBOUND Collection, we continue to undertake selected bespoke commissions, bringing the same level of care, creativity and attention to detail to every project. We value the trust placed in us by our clients and relish the collaboration, relationships and unique challenges that come with creating truly individual vehicles. For us, handing over the keys is never the end of the journey. Over the years, many of our clients have become friends, and one of the greatest pleasures of our work is seeing our vans out in the world being used and enjoyed. Whether it's sharing travel stories, offering advice or simply keeping in touch, we value the community that has grown around Nada Nook and the relationships that continue long after a build is complete. Ultimately, our work is shaped by a few simple beliefs: that adventure should feel effortless, that beautiful spaces enrich everyday experiences, and that the vehicles we travel in should be built to last, both practically and aesthetically. Whether exploring remote tracks in the Highlands, spending months on the road through Europe or simply escaping for the weekend, our aim remains the same — to create campervans that feel calm, capable and completely at home wherever they are parked.
