Nada Nook is the creative partnership of Alistair & Jenny, specialising in handcrafted, design-led campervans built for adventure, off-grid living and meaningful travel. Drawing on years of experience living, travelling and working from campervans, we create vehicles that balance capability with comfort, combining carefully considered layouts, natural materials and proven off-grid systems with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design. Every project is individually designed and hand-built in our workshop, where sheets of plywood, lengths of timber and carefully chosen materials are transformed into unique living spaces. From the first sketch to the final finishing touches, each van is shaped through a hands-on process of design, craftsmanship and thoughtful refinement. We believe the best campervans are more than a collection of features; they are environments that support a slower pace of life, a stronger connection to nature and the freedom to explore on your own terms. In recent years, this philosophy has evolved into The Unbound Collection — a series of Volkswagen 4Motion-based adventure campervans united by a shared design language and purpose. From BRACKEN through to TIMO, MOSS and RIVER, each vehicle builds upon the lessons of the last, refining a common approach centred around natural materials, thoughtful layouts, off-grid independence and genuine all-terrain capability. Each new project provides an opportunity to refine the collection further, exploring new ideas while remaining true to the principles that brought it into being. Alongside The UNBOUND Collection, we continue to undertake selected bespoke commissions, bringing the same level of care, creativity and attention to detail to every project. We value the trust placed in us by our clients and relish the collaboration, relationships and unique challenges that come with creating truly individual vehicles. For us, handing over the keys is never the end of the journey. Over the years, many of our clients have become friends, and one of the greatest pleasures of our work is seeing our vans out in the world being used and enjoyed. Whether it's sharing travel stories, offering advice or simply keeping in touch, we value the community that has grown around Nada Nook and the relationships that continue long after a build is complete. Ultimately, our work is shaped by a few simple beliefs: that adventure should feel effortless, that beautiful spaces enrich everyday experiences, and that the vehicles we travel in should be built to last, both practically and aesthetically. Whether exploring remote tracks in the Highlands, spending months on the road through Europe or simply escaping for the weekend, our aim remains the same — to create campervans that feel calm, capable and completely at home wherever they are parked.
