“We found Tom online due to his previous work. We are based in Yorkshire so it was a big decision to send the van down to Dorset to have the work done. Tom was always there to answer questions, and gave us loads of updates along the way. We went for the Oddessy build and chose our own materials and added a rattan feature. The van is 10/10 build quality and functionality. My favourite feature is the pull out table at the back! Would definitely recommend Tom and matchbox, look no further if you need a van doing, this is your man.”

Both Tom and Adam were a pleasure to work with, they warmly welcomed us into the workshop and consistently made us feel listened to, understood, and involved in the journey. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction and was a huge part of what made the experience so enjoyable. Even when we collected the van, they took time to help familiarise us with everything, from how to use the appliances and pop top, to the electrics and water systems. We were so touched by the thoughtful surprise extras, including a bespoke drawer designed to perfectly fit the cutlery and cooking items that Tom had sourced himself.

"Right from when we first met Tom, his enthusiasm to help us achieve our van conversion dream has been brilliant. Communication was always good, both electronically and face to face. We discussed and agreed a personal design and he kept us updated throughout the conversion. His skills are excellent, particularly with the wood and kitchen units — evidence of his previous role as a furniture maker — and there were some great extras such as a wine rack drawer, a mobile dimmer switch, and a pull-out garage drawer that we had not expected at the start. The schedule suited us perfectly, the handover went smoothly, and follow-up questions have all been answered quickly.
