Conversion Description This is a brand-new conversion ready to take on its first adventure. Intentionally designed for practical long term use this van offers a hassle free and simple solution to spending more time outside. After building/owning a similar van for the past 5 years I decided to use my experience to build an up-to-date version, incorporating modern materials, a complete off grid electrical system and a range of custom design features to make this a one-of-a-kind build. There is heavy inspiration from some of the most desirable van builders in the UK, who often have 1-2 year wait lists for their builds. I’m a hobbyist builder based in Edinburgh, under the name of @furtherconversions. You can find out more about the design process, build choices and influences on my Instagram above. Feel free to drop me an email, Whatsapp or give me a call on the number above! This vehicle has been designed for adventures in the Scotland and beyond, with a high quality birch plywood finish, fabrics from the island of Bute and custom internal and external contours that depict the relief map of Cape Wrath, the most north westerly point in mainland UK. Every detail has been poured over to ensure the van is both long lasting, practical, and stylish. This includes a full electrical system that can keep you off-grid for weeks at a time. Need to work remotely? The van includes a Starlink Mini set up mounted to the roof, within the Front runner roof rack system that gives you access to a range of accessories only available with Front runner (external storage, bike, surf board and ski carriers). The van is heavily insulated and has an efficient heater that can keep you toasty throughout all 4 seasons. There is full standing room just above 6 foot, and a bed with significant space for 2 to sleep comfortably. The boot also includes space for 2x bikes, as well as storage for whatever gear you might need. This vehicle is also ready to hire, with a full electrical certification and no gas anywhere in the van!
